Apparatus for cutting sheet material comprises a hand-manoeuvrable body (10) comprising separate superimposed parts (11, 12) with a gap (13) between in which a sheet material (23) can be received. The parts are physically connected only by a blade (14), and a pressure means (22), e.g. a freely rotatable wheel is provided to tension the sheet in front of the blade. The gap (13) may be sinusoidal for support, and tensioning of the sheet. A window (24) is provided for viewing the sheet in front of the blade (14).

L'invention concerne un appareil de coupe de matière en feuille comprenant un corps manipulable (10) comportant des parties séparées superposées (11, 12) présentant un espace entre elles dans lequel une matière en feuille (23) peut être reçue. Les parties sont physiquement reliées uniquement par une lame (14), et un dispositif de pression (22), par exemple une roue à rotation libre, destinée à tendre la feuille devant la lame. L'espace (13) peut être sinusoïdal pour permettre le support et la tension de la feuille. Une fenêtre (24) permet de visualiser la feuille devant la lame (14).
