A cutting tool has an elongate shaft extending from a gripping end to a working end. A triangular blade is mounted on the working end of the shaft which comprises two opposed cutting edges which converge with one another towards an apex of the blade spaced outwardly from the shaft. A hook extends outwardly from the working end of the shaft, opposite the blade. A handle is mounted on the gripping end for gripping in a user's hand to strike on object to be cut with the working end in a swinging or striking motion by the user.
