A cutting tool consists of a holder, a blade with cutting teeth and a cap screw. The blade has a one-piece axial projection with an encircling positive coupling surface that has a convex polygon contour. A through hole extends through the blade. The holder has a front-end recess the circumferential surface of which forms the couplement to the coupling surface of the blade. The blade with its projection fits into this frontal recess of the holder and is axially secured with the screw. The blade provided with a projection is a sintered product and withstands high cutting forces. This makes it possible to use a fracture-proof holder.
