A cutting tool assembly (1) including a cutter body (3) having a cutting unit receiving pocket (7) for releasably receiving a cutting unit (8) with an operative cutting edge (10) and an abutment surface (13) remote therefrom. An elongated bore (15) adapted for receiving an adjustment device (19) is formed in the cutter body, the bore opening into the receiving pocket adjacent the abutment surface. The adjustment device includes an elongated tubular adjustment member (22) having a longitudinally directed adjustment surface (26) inclined with respect to its longitudinal axis (23), an elongated adjustment screw (27) initially slidingly extending through the adjustment member and adjustment member inter-engaging means for securing the adjustment member on the adjustment screw. On screwing the adjustment screw in a given direction, the adjustment member pushes the cutting unit outward.

Ensemble outil de coupe (1) comprenant un corps de fraise (3) possédant un trou de réception (7) servant à loger de façon amovible un élément de coupe (8) comportant un bord coupant (10) et une surface de butée (13) située à distance dudit bord. Un alésage allongé (15) conçu pour recevoir un dispositif de réglage (19) est formé dans le corps de fraise et aboutit à l'intérieur du trou de réception en position contiguë à la surface de butée. Ce dispositif de réglage comprend un élément de réglage tubulaire allongé (22) possédant une surface de réglage (26) orientée dans le sens de la longueur et inclinée par rapport à son axe longitudinal (23), une vis de réglage allongée (27) s'étendant initialement de façon coulissante dans l'élément de réglage, ainsi que des moyens d'accouplement réciproque avec ledit élément de réglage, permettant de fixer ce dernier sur la vis de réglage. Lorsqu'on tourne la vis de réglage dans un sens donné, l'élément de réglage pousse l'élément de coupe vers l'extérieur.
