Abstract of the Disclosure A cutting tool having elongate cutter arms mounted about a pivot pin for outward swinging movement. Cutting blades are mounted on the lower ends of the cutter arms and have a plurality of closely fitting hard carbide cutting elements of a predetermined shape and size secured thereto in a closely fitting predetermined pattern. The cutting elements have parallel rear and front faces connected by a peripheral side surface extending perpendicularly to the parallel faces. Several embodiments of pivotally mounted cutter arms are illustrated including various blades having a plurality of closely fitting cutting elements arranged thereon in a plurality of longitudinally and transversely extending rows for forming the leading cutting surface.
