A cutting tool with a circular cutter body member (2) has at its outer circumference a plurality of individual projections (10) arranged spaced from one another about the cutter body with the space between successive projections defining receiving slots (12) for cutting blades (80, 82). The individual projections (10) comprise an outer surface, at least one of which includes a protrusion (16). Each of the slots (12) comprises opposing first and second side surfaces (29, 22) and an inner end portion with the inner end portion having a pair of angled mounting surfaces (24, 26). Each of the angled mounting surfaces is oriented at an angle of less than 90 degrees with respect to its respective side surface. Preferably, one of the mounting surfaces is oriented at an angle of about 60 degrees while the other mounting surface is oriented at an angle of about 30 degrees.
L'invention concerne un outil de coupe comprenant un élément de corps (2) de coupe circulaire, qui présente sur sa périphérique externe une pluralité de parties saillantes (10) individuelles, disposées espacées les unes des autres, autour du corps de coupe, l'espace entre les parties saillantes successives définissant des fentes (12) de réception pour des lames de coupe (80, 82). Les parties saillantes (10) individuelles comprennent au moins une surface externe pourvue d'une partie saillante. Chaque fente (12) comprend une première et une seconde surfaces (29, 22) latérales opposées, et une partie d'extrémité interne pourvue d'une paire de surfaces de montage (24, 26) inclinées. Chaque surface de montage inclinée est orientée selon un angle inférieur à 90· par rapport à ses surfaces latérales respectives. Une des surfaces de montage est, de préférence, orientée selon un angle d'environ 60·,l'autre surface de montage étant orientée selon un angle de 30·.
