ABSTRACT The specification discloses a process for the preparation of compounds of the formula Image I wherein Hal is halogen, X and Y are hydrogen or lower alkyl and B is amino, hydroxy, lower alkoxy or mono- or di-lower- alkylamino-lower-alkoxy and of pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. These compounds and salts have anti- inflammatory, analgesic and anti-rheumatic activity.
