The present invention relates to a compound having the formula Image wherein X is same or different substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, hydroxy, nitro, cyano, C1-6 alkyl, halo C1-6 alkyl, halo C2-6 alkenyl, C1-6 alkoxy, halo C1-6 alkoxy, halo C2-6 alkenyloxy, C1-6 alkylthio, halo C1-6 alkylthio, halo C2-6 alkenylthio, mono C1-6 alkylamino, di C1-6 alkylamino, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl, C1-6 alkylcarbonyl C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 alkylcarbonyl, C1-6 alkoxyamino, C1-6 alkylsulfonyl, halo C1-6 alkylsulfonyl, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl C1-6 alkylthio, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl C1-6 alkylsulfillyl, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl C1-6 alkylsulfonyl, and phenyl which may have substituents; n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; Y is straight or branched C1-6 alkylene; m is 0 or 1; R1 is hydroxy, cyano, nitro, C1-6 alkylcarbonyl, C1-6 alkoxyamino, heterocyclic group which may have substituents, or Z-R3; Z is oxygen, SOk (k is 0, 1 or 2), Image (r is hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl), Image , or -S-S-; R3 is C1-6 alkyl, halo C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C2-6 alkynyl, C1-6 alkoxy C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkylthio C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl C1-6 alkyl, phenyl which may have substituents, C7-13 aralkyl, or heterocyclic group which may have substituents; R2 is same or different substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxycarbonyl, halo C2-6 alkenyl, or phenyl group which may have substituents; 1 is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; R is hydrogen, C1-6 alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl C1-6 alkyl, arylsulfonyl, or organic or inorganic base residual group, with the proviso that R1 is not furyl which may have substituents, when m=0. The compound is useful as herbicide.
