ABSTRACT This invention relates to cyclopropane carboxylic acid ester derivatives There is provided a compound of formula Image (I) wherein R1 and R2 are each independently selected from, chlorine bromine and methyl, in the form or a 1:1 mixture of the 1RcisS- and 1ScisR- isomers substantially free of 1ScisS- and 1RcisR- isomers, processes for preparing such compounds, and their use as pesticides. Compounds according to the invention contain up to four times as much of the most active isomer of the compound of formula I as a compound containing equal amounts of all eight possible isomers, and they are readily prepared by rout? which do not involve any stereospecific synthesis or optical re?olution steps.
