ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cylinder for a rotary web processing machine comprises a mandrel and a plurality of multi-part rings detachably fixed thereto. Each part of each ring is fixed to the mandrel by first and second screws. Each first screw is effective to clamp the associated ring part to the mandrel and to locate that ring part both radially and axially. Each second screw is effective to clamp the associated ring part to the mandrel.
