ABSTRACT The invention relates to a cylinder (1) for printing units of rotary printing presses with cylinder bearers (3, 10) provided at either end on the cylinder end faces (4), said cylinder bearers (3, 10) being fastened on the cylinder (1) centrically with respect to the rotational axis of the latter. The centring of the cylinder bearers (3, 10) is unaffected by elastic deformations in the region of the journals (2).
