The invention relates to a cylinder-head gasket consisting of: at least one so-called outer plate including a circular rib; a support plate (18) which is disposed against the surface of the outer plate bearing the projecting rib; and a stop ring (20) in the form of an annular wedge which is arranged edge to edge. The inventive gasket is characterised in that the link between the stop ring (20) and the support plate (18) is formed by at least one projecting part (22) which is arranged on either one of said two elements, housed in a hollow cutout, with essentially complementary forms arranged on the other element, said projecting part(s) being provided with undercut forms. Moreover, the aforementioned link is provided by at least one plastic deformation (26) which occurs close to said projecting parts(s) (22). In this way, a slight expansion takes place which provides the link between said two elements by means of wedging.
L 'objet de l'invention est un joint de culasse comprenant au moins une tôle dite extérieure comportant une nervure circulaire, une tôle support (18) disposée contre la face de la tôle extérieure portant en saillie la nervure et un stoppeur (20) sous forme d'une cale annulaire disposée bord à bord, caractérisé en ce que la liaison entre le stoppeur (20) et la tôle support (18) comprend au moins une partie en saillie (22), ménagée indifféremment sur l'un des deux éléments, venant se loger dans une découpe en creux de formes sensiblement coopérantes ménagées au niveau de l'autre élément, la ou les partie(s) en saillie ayant des formes en contre-dépouille, ainsi qu'au moins une déformation plastique (26) à proximité de ladite ou desdites partie(s) en saillie (22) de manière à engendrer une légère expansion susceptible d'assurer la liaison entre lesdits deux élèments par coincement.
