ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cylinder joint for joining two vertically oriented cylinder sections, which aligns the cylinders and supports the weight of the upper cylinder section on the upper end of the lower cylinder section. A split ring and locking collar assembly maintain the assembled relation of the cylinder sections, and it provides a mechanically strong, fluid-tight joint.
