ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A locking wire joint in a hydraulic cylinder between the barrel and bearing which also prevents rotational movement therebetween; including a locking wire having a u-shaped end, the wire being insertable through a slot in the cylinder barrel into a pair of mating annular grooves; with the u-shaped end engageable with the slot to lock the connected cylinder parts against rotation.
