ABSTRACT A method of fracturing a subsurface formation is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of introducing a liquid stream through a mixing chamber in outer spaced and isolated relation to a central inlet chamber; introducing materials comprising a solid or liquid or combination of liquid and solids through the central inlet chamber and imparting a centrifugal force to the materials in a radial direction whereby the materials intercept the liquid stream and become intermixed therewith in the mixing chamber, and thereafter discharging the mixing chamber. The intermixed materials are under pumped pressure into the subsurface formation. The materials may include sand introduced in varying concentrations to a maximum of 10 lbs. per gallon of liquid or a chemical additive adapted to form a gel with the liquid stream.
