CYLINDRICAL BALER WITH AUTOMATIC STEERING SYSTEM Abstract of the Disclosure Tractor drawn baler for the formation of large diameter cylindrical or round Bales. Baler comprises a bale-forming chamber into which the harvest products are fed through an opening by a pick-up which removes the harvest products from a windrow. Detecting means such as pivoted arm with feeling rollers engaging the chamber circumference are provided along the length of the bale for detecting the lack of uniformity in the diameter of the latter. Steering means connected to the said detecting means for steering the baler by transversely back and forth movement (zig- zag) relative to the windrow direct the harvest products toward the part of the bale that has the smallest diameter and thereby re-establishing the uniformity of diameter of the said bale.
