Tamis cylindrique, notamment pour la pâte à papier, du type comportant deux brides reliées l'une à l'autre au moyen d'une pluralité de barreaux, et au moins un élément filtrant mince rigide dans un sens axial, l'élément filtrant étant porté par des cercles de support et disposé en amont des barreaux par rapport à un sens d'écoulement de la pâte, caractérisé en ce que l'élément filtrant est en appui contre les barreaux par l'intermédiaire des cercles de support qui se trouvent en contact avec ceux- ci, sans y être fixés.
