The invention concerns a monoclonal antibody directed against the CD20 antigen, whereof the variable region of each of the light chains is encoded by a sequence having at least 70 % identity with the murine nucleic acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 5, the variable region of each of the heavy chains is encoded by a sequence having at least 70 % identity with the murine nucleic acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 7 and the constant regions of light chains and of heavy chains are constant regions derived from a non-murine species. The invention also concerns the use of said antibody to activate Fc.gamma.RIII receptors of immune effector cells, and for making a drug, in particular for treating leukemia or a lymphoma.
La présente invention se rapporte à un .anticorps monoclonal dirigé contre l'antigène CD20, dont la région variable de chacune des chaînes légères est codée par une séquence possédant au moins 70% d' identité avec la séquence d'acide nucléique murine SEQ ID NO : 5, la région variable de chacune des chaînes lourdes est codée par une séquence possédant au moins 70% d'identité avec la séquence d'acide nucléique murine SEQ ID NO : 7 et les régions constantes des chaînes légères et des chaînes lourdes sont des régions constantes provenant d'une espèce non-murine, ainsi qu'à l'utilisation de cet anticorps pour activer les récepteurs Fc.gamma.RIII de cellules immunitaires effectrices, et pour la fabrication d'un médicament, notamment destiné au traitement d'une leucémie ou d'un lymphome .
