The invention relates to a damping device (30) for hinges (10), which are designed to hinge door leaves (12) or panels to the body of pieces of furniture, allowing the former to pivot. In said furniture, the hinge comprises a respective supporting-wall fitting (18) that can be fastened to the supporting wall (14) and a door-leaf fitting (24) that is coupled in a pivoting manner to said supporting-wall fitting via an articulated mechanism (20; 22) and that can be coupled to the inner face of the door leaf or panel. The door-leaf fitting is preferably configured as a well-shaped part that engages in a recess in the door leaf or panel, lying flush with said recess and comprising laterally projecting fixing flanges that rest against the inner face of the door leaf. The damping device (30) has a damper housing that is located on the door-leaf fitting (24). The cavity of the housing contains a liquid or gaseous damping medium and a resistance element that can be displaced in relation to said damping medium, said element being coupled to an actuating element (39) that protrudes from the housing. The actuating element has a direct or indirect drive connection to the supporting-wall fitting (18), at least during part of the pivoting displacement of the fittings (18; 24) in relation to one another, and transmits the relative displacement of the pivoting fittings to the resistance element. The damper housing (32) is configured as a separate component, which is equipped with laterally projecting fixing flanges (38) that can be fastened onto the fixing flanges of the door-leaf fitting.
L'invention concerne un dispositif amortisseur (30) pour des charnières (10) servant à l'articulation pivotante de vantaux (12) ou de battants de porte sur le corps de meubles. La charnière comprend respectivement un élément de butée de paroi portante (18) pouvant être fixé sur la paroi portante (14), ainsi qu'un élément de butée de vantail de porte (24) qui est accouplé de manière pivotante à l'élément de butée de paroi portante au moyen d'un mécanisme articulé (20, 22), qui peut être fixé sur la face intérieure du vantail ou du battant de porte et qui est, de préférence, réalisé sous forme d'élément en creuset s'engrenant de manière affleurante dans un évidement du vantail ou du battant de porte et comprenant une bride de fixation qui fait saillie latéralement et qui s'applique sur la face intérieure du vantail de porte. Le dispositif amortisseur (30) selon l'invention comprend un boîtier d'amortissement qui est placé sur l'élément de butée de vantail de porte (24) et dans la cavité duquel se trouvent un milieu d'amortissement liquide ou gazeux et un élément de résistance qui est déplaçable par rapport au milieu d'amortissement et qui est accouplé à un élément d'actionnement (39) sortant du boîtier. L'élément d'actionnement est, au moins pendant une partie du mouvement de pivotement des éléments de butée (18, 24) l'un par rapport à l'autre, directement ou indirectement en liaison d'entraînement avec l'élément de butée de paroi portante (18) et transmet à l'élément de résistance le mouvement relatif des éléments de butée lors de leur pivotement. Le boîtier d'amortissement (32) est un composant distinct qui est muni de brides de fixation (38) faisant saillie latéralement et pouvant être fixées sur les brides de fixation de l'élément de butée de vantail.
