Abstract of the Disclosure An ultra light weight, frameless damping spacer for spacing at least two parallel, overhead conductors, the damping spacer comprising at least two rigid spacer arms and conductor clamping members, with the clamping members being respectively located at one end of the spacer arms, and integral housings respectively located at the other ends of the arms. Each housing is provided with an opening and a resilient damping member wholly contained within the opening and housing. The spacer arms are disposed and held together by a rigid pin extending through each housing and through an opening in each arm aligned with the housings.
