A by-pass tool (10) has a large bore throughflow passage (30) when in an inactive drilling mode, and the capable of being activated, upon launching of an activation dart (11) from the surface, to an active mode in which drillstring fluids can be diverted to a by-pass port, comprising: a casing (31); a by-pass port (32) for diverting drillstring fluids when the tool is in the active mode; and an axially slidable member (33) within the casing (31) to slide between blocking and release positions with respect to the by-pass port (32), in which the member (33) is movable to the release position by the dart (11) to bring ports (34) in the member (33) into registry with the by-pass port (32), and in which the displacable member (33) can return to its blocking position and thereby cause the tool to revert to its inactive mode upon wireline retrieval of the dart.
Un outil de dérivation (10) présente un passage d'écoulement (30) à gros calibre lorsqu'il est en mode de forage inactif, et l'outil peut être activé, lors du lancement d'un clapet d'activation (11) depuis la surface, en mode actif, dans lequel des fluides de train de tiges peuvent être déviés vers un orifice de dérivation, l'outil comprenant : un tubage (31); un orifice de dérivation (32) destiné à dévier les fluides; et un élément (33) mobile axialement à l'intérieur du tubage (31) entre des positions de blocage et de libération par rapport à l'orifice de dérivation (32), dans lequel l'élément (33) peut passer en position de libération par l'intermédiaire du clapet d'activation (11) afin de placer les orifices (34) dans l'élément (3) en alignement avec l'orifice de dérivation (32), et dans lequel l'élément mobile (33) peut revenir dans sa position de blocage et faire ainsi revenir l'outil à son mode inactif lors du retrait du câble du clapet.
