The following is a summary description of the DASH VISOR. The visor was thought up and designed to limit the adverse effect of reflective lights that get to an automobile driver or passenger from a reflection off the hood of a vehicle. The visor is rectangle shaped, although the overall shape and size will be unique to the dashboard design and the hood configuration of a specific make and model of vehicle. The visor will be situated on the dashboard to cover the hood area where reflective light is predominant for the driver and passenger (In Canada that would be the left to center of the vehicle). There will be a separate visor for the driver and the passenger. The visor is made of rigid material like cardboard, plastic or metal and is covered in the same material as the dashboard. The visor is set into the top of the dashboard so the dashboard is level when the visor is down. The visor will hinge upward from the top of an automobile's dashboard. The hinge is rigid enough to allow the visor to stay in place and not self adjust. It will take a human hand to adjust the visor. The visor is therefore adjustable to how a driver or passenger sits in the vehicle.
