The aim of the present invention is to propose a method that allows the reduction of the bandwidth needs in a structure that implements an operating centre and a plurality of user units, ensuring the availability for the final user, of a product amongst a vast choice and being able to be downloaded by said user in a short period of time. This aim is achieved by a system that implements at least one operating centre that has a great number of products, a plurality of user units comprising security and storage means, characterised in that the link between at least one group of user units is of the bi-directional type and that the operating centre comprises means for the transfer of a product that is stored in the storage means of a user unit to another user unit.
Le but de la présente invention est de proposer une méthode permettant de réduire les besoins en bande passante dans une structure mettant en oeuvre un centre de gestion et une pluralité d'unités d'utilisateur, tout en assurant la disponibilité pour l'utilisateur final, d'un produit parmi un vaste choix et pouvant être téléchargé par ledit utilisateur dans un temps court.Ce but est atteint par un système mettant en oeuvre au moins un centre de gestion disposant d'un grand nombre de produits, d'une pluralité d'unités d'utilisateur comprenant des moyens de sécurité et des moyens de stockage, caractérisé en ce que la liaison entre au moins un groupe d'unités d'utilisateur est de type bidirectionnelle et que le centre de gestion comprend des moyens pour effectuer le transfert d'un produit stocké dans les moyens de stockage d'une unité d'utilisateur à destination d'une autre unité d'utilisateur.
