The invention relates to a data processing system comprising at least one user unit, a memory unit, a link to at least one, especially external, electronic data base, and a search engine for carrying out data searches in the at least one data base. A plurality of search formulations for the search engine is stored in the form of search modules which form the nodes and edges of a semantic network and which for carrying out a data search can be assembled into search requests having any desired complexity. This distributed storage of search requests allows for the continued development of the network by the search action of the user if corresponding user-interactive processes are used. For automatically creating summaries of text documents using the data processing system provided for in the invention, text documents containing a given search word are detected in the data base and the textual content of each text document detected in this way is compared with search words contained in nodes close to the search node. When the textual contents of a text document coincides with a search word of a nearby node, a data file assigned to the text document is created and an abstract of the node containing the search word is written into said data file to serve as summary of the text document.
L'invention concerne un système de traitement de données comprenant au moins une unité utilisateur, une unité mémoire, une liaison à au moins un jeu de données électroniques notamment externe ainsi qu'une machine de recherche destinée à réaliser des recherches de données dans le ou les jeu(x) de données. Une pluralité de formulations de recherche de la machine de recherche sont mémorisées sous forme de modules de recherche constituant les noeuds et les bords d'un réseau sémantique. Ces modules de recherche peuvent être assemblés pour former une instruction de recherche complexe de conception quelconque pour mener à bien une recherche de données. Cette mémorisation distribuée de demandes de recherche permet, lors de l'application de processus interactifs utilisateurs correspondants, d'améliorer le réseau par l'activité de recherche de l'utilisateur. Pour créer automatiquement des sommaires de documents textes avec le système de traitement de données selon l'invention, on détermine, dans le ou les jeu(x) de données, des documents textes contenant un critère de recherche et on compare le contenu du texte de chaque document texte déterminé à des critères de recherche contenus dans les noeuds proches du noeud de recherche. Si le contenu du texte d'un document texte coïncide avec un critère d recherche d'un noeud proche, un fichier affecté au document texte est créé et un abrégé du noeud contenant le critère de recherche est enregistré dans ce fichier comme sommaire du document texte.
