A program guide (100) in which a video layer (100) includes a plurality of video objects including title ob-jects, each title object having associated with it a channel and at least one time slot (150). The video layer (100) is formed in re-sponse to a received video stream. A graphics layer comprises a plurality of graphics objects including title overlay objects (306, 308, 330, 508), wherein each of the title overlay objects selectively imparts at least a visual de-emphasis to a respective title object in the video layer. The visual de-emphasis being im-parted to title objects not being associated with a desired time slot.

L'invention concerne un guide de programmes (100) dans lequel une couche vidéo (100) comprend plusieurs objets vidéo, tels que des objets titre, chaque objet titre étant associé à un canal et à un créneau (150) au moins.
