The invention relates to a data structure (100) for the specifications of a mechanical device (10), said specifications including at least one assembly E including at least one element selected from a component (12, 14) or a set of components, said structure being characterized in that it includes: an identifier for the assembly (102); an identifier for the element (104, 106); at least one link (P1, P2, Q1, Q2) between the element identifier and at least one CAO file (204N, 204T, 206N, 206T) containing the geometric representation of the element; at least one link (R1, R2) between the assembly identifier and at least one data file (E1, E2) containing a space positioning matrix (M, M2) for said at least one element as well as at least one pointer (PT1, PT2, QT1, QT2) to said CAO file containing the geometric representation of the member of the assembly; and a space positioning vector (V1, V2) of said element in the assembly.

L'invention concerne une structure de données (100) d'une nomenclature d'un dispositif mécanique (10), ladite nomenclature comprenant au moins un ensemble (E) incluant au moins un élément pris parmi un composant (12, 14) ou un ensemble de composants, ladite structure étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend : un identifiant de l'ensemble (102); un identifiant de l'élément (104, 106); au moins un lien (P1, P2, Q1, Q2) entre l'identifiant de l'élément et au moins un fichier CAO (204N, 204T, 206N, 206T) contenant la représentation géométrique de l'élément; au moins un lien (R1, R2) entre l'identifiant de l'ensemble et au moins un fichier de données (E1, E2) contenant une matrice de positionnement spatial (M1, M2) dudit au moins un élément de l'ensemble ainsi qu'au moins un pointeur (PT1, PT2, QT1, QT2) vers ledit fichier CAO contenant la représentation géométrique de l'élément de l'ensemble; et un vecteur de positionnement spatial (V1, V2) dudit élément dans l'ensemble.
