ABSTRACT: Digital information can be applied to a data transfer station from a first memory by means of a first read-out device. The information read is tempora- rily stored in a second memory. When the second memory reaches a first degree of filling in the upwards direc- tion, the first read-out device is blocked after a given delay. When the second memory in its turn has output information elements, so that a second degree of filling is signalled, the first read out device is un- blocked after a given delay. The second memory is serial- ly organized. In as far as the said degrees of filling are not determined, at least the minimum value of the first degree of filling is equal to (or higher, than) the maxi- mum value of the second degree of filling. Notably the delay incurred upon blocking can be caused by the run-out time of a mechanical device, by information delay times or in that the blocking of the transfer per se implies a number of delaying procedure steps.
