Abstract A data transmission system with several devices con- nected to one another by electrical lines, between which devices data transmission is possible in both directions, and whereby said devices have at least one data output and one data input isolated from said data output, wherein only the data output of at least one device (3, 5) has electrical signal isolation by means of optocouplers (35, 58). As a result, a high interference immunity factor is obtained with minimum expenditure.
