ABSTRACT OF DATASAFE The present invention relates to a back up and storage process for computer systems data. The present invention utilizes electronic hardware and\or software ( dependent on specific computer systems ) installed on the computer system to perform the functions of: retrieve the data within the computer ( or several computers in the case of networked sites ) automatically; transmit the data via the public phone system ( wireless transmission in some cases ) automatically to a "HOST" computer system centre; stored and archived within a secure and fire retardant facility (being the HOST centre). The present invention also incorporates options within the software that the user might utilize such as: automatic computer system diagnostics and optimization; and automatic virus scanning and detection of computer system.
