The invention relates to an instantaneous mechanism which is used to control the date indicator (24) of a timepiece movement. The inventive mechanism comprises: a 24-hour wheel (10) which is pierced with a first hole (12b); a date driving wheel (16) which is mounted coaxially to the 24-hour wheel (10) such that it can rotate freely thereon, said driving wheel (16) being equipped with a pin (18) which is positioned in the aforementioned hole and a tooth (20) which co-operates with the indicator (24) in order to advance said indicator step-by-step every day around midnight; and a spring balance (26, 32) which co-operates with the above-mentioned pin (18). All of said elements are shaped, dimensioned and disposed such that, around midnight, the balance (26) escapes the pin (18) and returns sharply to the rest position thereof, thereby moving the pin (18) and the driving wheel (16) forwards, the tooth (20) of the wheel striking the date indicator (24) in order to advance same by one step.
L'invention concerne un mécanisme instantané pour la commande de l'indicateur de quantième (24) d'un mouvement de pièce d'horlogerie. II comporte: une roue 24 heures (10) percée d'une première découpe (12b), une roue entraîneuse de quantième (16) montée libre en rotation sur la roue 24 heures (10), coaxialement à elle et possédant une goupille (18) qui prend place dans la découpe et une dent (20) qui coopère avec l'indicateur (24) pour le faire progresser pas à pas chaque jour vers minuit, et une bascule ressort (26, 32) coopérant avec la goupille (18). Ces organes sont conformés, dimensionnés et disposés de manière à ce que, vers minuit, la bascule (26) échappe à la goupille (18) et revient brusquement à sa position de repos en lançant vers l'avant la goupille (18) et la roue entraîneuse (16) dont la dent (20) vient gifler l'indicateur de quantième (24) pour le faire avancer d'un pas.
