Abstract of the Disclosure The disclosure teaches a DC to low frequency AC power conversion system which includes two high frequency link inverters and a cycloconverter. DC input is fed to the high frequency links in parallel, and the outputs of the links are fed to a subtractor. The output of the subtractor is then fed to the cycloconverter. The difference in magnitude between the first high frequency and the second high frequency of the respective frequency links is equal to twice the low frequency.
