A general-purpose static DC to DC converter consisting of two monopolar power pulse producers using separate transformers. They are synchronised 180° out of phase, with the duty cycle of the pulses of each pulse generator being greater than 50%. The pulse outputs are connected in parallel so that the pulses overlap partly, resulting in the delivery of DC power without gaps, which is usable without a filter.
