Deblocking filter used in a video encoder/decoder based on a multilayer. In deciding a deblocking filter strength when performing a deblocking filtering with respect to a boundary between a current block coded by an intra-BL mode and its neighboring block, it is determined whether the current block or the neighboring block has coefficients. The filter strength is decided as a first filter strength if it is determined that the current block or the neighboring block has the coefficients, and the filter strength is decided as a second filter strength if it is determined that the current block or the neighboring block does not have the coefficients. The first filter strength is greater than the second filter strength.

L'invention concerne un filtre de déblocage utilisé dans un codeur/décodeur vidéo sur la base d'une multicouche. En se prononçant pour une puissance de filtre de déblocage lors de l'exécution d'un filtrage de déblocage par rapport à une limite entre un bloc actuel codé selon un mode intra-BL et son bloc voisin, on détermine si le bloc courant ou le bloc voisin a des coefficients. On considère la puissance de filtre comme une première puissance de filtre si l'on établit que le bloc actuel ou le bloc voisin a des coefficients, et on considère la puissance de filtre comme une seconde puissance de filtre si l'on établit que le bloc actuel ou le bloc voisin n'a pas de coefficients. La première puissance de filtre est supérieure à celle du second filtre.
