ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A deboning apparatus having an internal seal for the end of the auger comprising a circular flange having slots therein for directing fluids away from the seal. The end of the auger is supported in a bearing assembly held in place by a cap which is bolted to a flange on the auger housing and to spaced, opposed columns. There is also an extra flight on the opposite end of the auger near the exit end for the bone and the end of each flight has a square tip.
