A debris catcher mountable on the side of an appliance, the side containing a magnetically attracted material, for catching debris falling in close proximity to the sides of the appliance, is disclosed. The debris catcher comprises an elongate mounting frame portion and a magnetic mounting means secured to the elongate mounting frame portion. The magnetic mounting means is removably engagable in supported relation on the side of an appliance. An elongate trough portion is secured to the mounting frame portion, and is shaped and dimensioned to receive debris falling thereinto, and to laterally retain thedebris.
