A device for holding open and supporting in a horizontal position, a flexible bag, so that debris can be guided into the inner part of the bag. The device is a rectangular sheet of plastic with memory so that it will attempt to return to a flat position when rolled, thus when it is inserted into the opening of the bag, it unrolls until restrained by the sides of the bag's circumference. The device is sized such that when the top edge is inserted into the bag at varying depths, it makes sufficient purchase with the sides of the bag to hold it in place but also allows the bottom edge to project out from the bag's opening in a splayed, chute-like position, with part of this edge laying flat to facilitate bag-filling with rake like tools. The device has perforations along this bottom edge in which fasteners can be placed through and into the ground to further stabilize the device when in use. There are slats at the top edge of device in which fasteners can be threaded through into the bag sides to further secure contact if needed. The use of these fasteners is optional; the device will maintain it's functional shape in the horizontal position for many types of bag-filling jobs.
