ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A deburring and cleaning apparatus which can remove burr on edges of a plastic card or the like automatically and rapidly with a simple mechanism and can remove, after such automatic deburring, foreign articles on a surface of a plastic card or the like and then remove static electricity from the plastic card or the like is disclosed. The deburring and cleaning apparatus comprises at least one pair of deburring pressure rollers for holding and transporting a flattened plastic article therebetween, a motor for driving the deburring pressure rollers to rotate, and a heater for heating the deburring pressure rollers and the plastic article to melt burr of the plastic article. At least one pair of adhesive rollers are located on the downstream side of the deburring pressure rollers in a transporting direction in which the plastic article is transported, and a discharge brush is located on the downstream side of the adhesive rollers in the transporting direction. -18-
