This invention relates to watches and more particularly to an improved electronic watch. It is a timing device which can count and display any chosen unit of time (for example: seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years) in a continuous ascending or descending manner without any interruption, using the decimal system, with its recurring and resetting cycle of ten units (for example the invention can be continuously counting seconds without resetting to zero when the count of 60 seconds has beenreached, or can be continuously counting minutes without resetting to zero once the count of 60 minutes has been reached). Thence the invention provides a new possibility to time up or down, to or from events, and using a single time unit. Without anymore calculation needed, this timing device offers an unique way of keeping, at any instant, a permanent measure of the time left before reaching a precise moment - or a measure of the time gone since a precisemoment, or the measure of the time between two moments - while keeping and displaying continuously the same time unit, in a decimal way, this for commercial, promotional artistic, educational or scientific purpose or for use of any kind.
L'invention porte sur des montres et plus particulièrement sur une montre électronique améliorée. Il s'agit d'un chronomètre qui peut compter et afficher n'importe quelle unité de temps (secondes, minutes, heures, jours, mois, années) d'une façon continue ascendante ou descendante sans interruption, en utilisant un système décimal, avec son cycle répétitif et de remise à zéro de dix unités (par exemple, l'invention peut compter de façon continue les secondes ou les minutes sans se remettre à zéro lorsqu'elle atteint 60). L'invention offre donc une nouvelle possibilité de chronométrer de façon ascendante ou descendante le temps passé pour se rendre à un événement, ou en revenir, en utilisant une seule unité de temps. Sans autre calcul, ce chronomètre offre une manière unique de compter à tout moment de façon permanente le temps qui reste avant d'atteindre un moment précis, le temps passé depuis un moment précis ou le temps passé entre deux moments, tout en continuant de compter et d'afficher la même unité dans un format décimal. L'invention peut servir à des applications commerciales, promotionnelles, artistiques, éducationnelles ou scientifiques ou pour toute autre application.
