A tool for cleaning debris from gaps between deck planking is disclosed. The tool includes a flat platelike blade having an inverted "U" shape with an arcuate, concave lower edge which dislodges and pushes debris downwardly when the tool is pushed downwardly. The lower edge includes square-cornered feet which define the corners of the blade on either side of the concave region. The height of the blade is sufficient to permit the arcuate portion to extend below the lower face of the deck to permit the tool to dislodge and push debris below the deck. The arcuate lower edge permits the tool to remove debris from within a crack in a position above a deck stringer.
