ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a decorating or shelf system of support surfaces which are disposed above each other and/or side by side, spacing or bracing elements with support columns of a stiff foldable material like cardboard, plastic or the like which each consist of a flat pre-cut blank, characterized in that the support columns as well as spacer and bracing elements each consists of a surface element with fold-lines and/or scorings extending in transverse and/or diagonal and/or longitudinal direction where the surface sections formed by these fold-lines and/or scorings represent outer and support surfaces of a hollow body or a body forming an angle in cross section which is adapted to assembly by insertion of at least one tongue and/or a slot of one or more support surfaces, spacing elements or rounting elements or a further support column for a stable connection with these elements.
