A decorative cover for cans and in particular, spray cans, which may be aerosol spray cans or non-aerosol spray cans. The decorative cover is wrapped around the spray can so that it will be attractive and not unsightly. The decorative cover is made of fabric material and usually consists of a front layer of fabric material, a back layer of fabric material, and an intermediate member which may be made of foam or other type of material to give the fabric some thickness. Adjacent one edge on the front layer is a closure fastener and adjacent a mirror image edge on the back layer is a complementary closure fastener. The cover wraps around the can so that the closure fasteners come in contact with each other to close the fabric cover around the can. Between the layers is a piece of foam material to give the overall cover some thickness so that it is easier to feel.
