The invention concerns a household or furniture equipment piece comprising a generally reinforced mollusc shell (1), at least locally, by a hardening material (3) and a frame (5) integral with said shell (1). This frame (5) is provided with means for being secured to a member. The piece, preferably used as handle has a very high fatigue strength under stresses because of its structure.
