ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a decorative inlay laminate and method of forming the same. The method involves cutting a desired pattern into a decorative layer using manual or mechanical cutting methods and superposing the cut decorative layer on a core layer. The core layer may be coloured to highlight the cut design. A protective layer is associated to the superposed decorative and core layer and a lamination procedure effected. The result is an inlay within a laminate having virtually no surface irregularities to collect debris.
