The decorative light device has a stylized shape of a Christmas tree, or a snow flake. It comprises a transparent or translucent plastic member having an elongated main body and plurality of side branches extending outward therefrom at an angle at a plurality of junctions. A light refraction opening is formed at each one of those junctions. An LED light source is located at a bottom end of the main body and is operative to provide a single or a series of flashing lights of various sequential colors for illuminating the main body and the side branches. A stylized snow flake can be made with a plurality of these plastic members mounted in an evenly spaced manner around the periphery of a center mounting member.
