A decorative lighting system including an electrical power plug and a plurality of conductive wires connected with the electrical power plug and a plurality of lamp holders. The lamp holders include a first fastener and a second fastener, wherein one of the conductive wires is connected with the first fastener. At least one non-conductive wire is connected with the second fastener of the lamp holder, in a manner such that a web-shaped arrangement of lamp holders is formed. A light bulb is connected with each respective lamp holder and illuminates when the electrical power plug is connected with a conventional power source.
