ABSTRACT The invention discloses decorative apparatus which makes use of a filmy flow of fluid of hollow form having a stable fluid film of smooth surface and generally uniform thick- ness. The apparatus includes supporting means having storage means for storing the fluid, outlet means supported by the supporting means, feed means for supplying fluid to the outlet means from the storage means, and expanding means positioned beneath the outlet means for transforming the fluid discharged from the outlet into a fluid-film of hollow form. The outlet means includes an outlet box having an outlet hole for discharg- ing the fluid and at least one air passage communicating to the atmosphere, and rectifying means comprising a porous fluid- permeable member which covers the outlet hole and has an area which is substantially greater than the area of the outlet hole. The fluid from the outlet box is regularized by the rectifying member contained in the outlet box and thereafter is poured through the outlet hole and is spread on the expanding means to form a stable and three dimensional filmy flow of liquid such as a globe, spheroid or parasol.
