ABSTRACT The decorative plastics laminate comprises a plurality of superposed translucent sheets constituted by 60 to 100% of alpha-cellulose and 0 to 40% of rayon fibres, impregnated with a thermosetting amino resin and bonded together by pressure and heat. Together with the characteristics of resistance to abrasion, water, impacts and chemical reagents, the laminate has a particular decorative effect obtained by virtue of the transparency of the cellulose sheets used.
