A decorative pull tab is disclosed which is connected to a slide fastener sliderbody and for fastening a decorative piece to same. The tab is provided with a ring (6) pivotally connected to a slide fastener. The pull tab body comprises a pair of first and second clamping plates (7, 7') hingedly (5) connected to each other. Thus, the clamping pull body is folded upon itself with the ring (6) pivotally connected to the hinge joint (5) . A looped cord (8) carrying ornamental objects such as a sphere (11) is held between the plates (7, 7') when they are folded over each other. Two embodiments of the invention are disclosed and shown in the drawings. The advantage of the invention is in an easy replacement of the decorative attachment to the pull tab body if required.
