The present invention provides a cover or sleeve for cigarette packages. The cover is adapted to be placed about conventional cigarette packages to render them more visually attractive; the cover preferably comprises a blank formed of a substantially transparent material and having an opaque portion containing printing in a desired area. The blank has fold indicating lines to permit the folding of the blank about the cigarette package with adhesive means being supplied to secure opposed ends together.
