A decoupling isolator comprising a pulley (10), a hub (12, 20) member comprising a stop(21), a flat wire spiral spring (14) having an end (16) fixedly connected to the pulley (10), the flat wire spiral spring (14) having another end engageable with the stop to limit a rotation of the pulley.
